PRE-EMPLOYMENT SCREENING
- Detailed phone screen with one of our in-house recruiters
- An in-person interview with a specialized Staffing Manager
- Testing on applicable Microsoft Office software
- Detailed reference checks (we need to verify more than just dates of hire, we want to know about your performance on the job)
THE DECISION
- Candidates who we will be able to place will then have an orientation in which our staff will explain what it’s like to work for Lakeshore, provide information on payroll, and review our general expectations of you while working for us
- If we are not able to place you for any reason we will tell you
Acceptance of First Assignment
- Candidates who have accepted their first assignment will have a felony and misdemeanor background checks going back at least 7 years run. Some of our clients require additional searches which may include education verification, motor vehicle search, drug screening, etc.
- All assignments are contingent on upon satisfactory results from this search
- Candidate will be given the details of the assignment, including location, duties, and rate of pay
What to expect while working for Lakeshore
WHILE ON ASSIGNMENT
- Candidates are expected to arrive on time and work their scheduled shift. Arrangements for coming in late, leaving early or being off must be approved by Lakeshore and the client in advance
- Dress professionally and according to the standards of the client location
- Be flexible; must be willing to do more than was stated in the original job description
- Be communicative; keep Lakeshore apprised of how the assignment is going
GETTING PAID
- Employees on temporary or contract-to-hire positions must complete a weekly time card in order to be paid
- Time cards are due by Monday at 5:30 CST
- Payday is every Friday
- Pay can be directly deposited into the account of your choice, posted to a Payroll Card (works like a debit card) or a paper check
TRAINING
- Online tutorials for Microsoft Office products are made available to all our employees

- Employees are eligible for insurance benefits after the completion of 6 weeks with a minimum of 20 hours a week or more
